The 22nd Salos Summer School and Conference, also known as Academia Grammaticorum Salensis, took place from 20 to 26 July 2025, for which we returned to the tranquil town of Antalieptė in Lithuania. Thanks to the support of the Van Riemsdijk Foundation, we were able to continue in the new direction we took last year, focusing on early-career researchers and offering a coherent program of linguistics courses. This year’s edition was entitled “Experiments with grammar”. Its main goal was to provide the participants with a solid understanding of how experiments can be used in theoretical research on grammar and to equip them with strong foundational knowledge in the practical application of experiments. For this purpose, the three courses provided covered the transition from linguistic theory to its experimental testing, an introduction to experimental methods, and handling experimental data with R. This time, the courses spanned not four but five days of the summer school, allowing for more in-depth engagement with each topic. Each day, the courses were followed by a tutoring session with the lecturers to give participants the chance to ask any remaining questions and to receive guidance for participants’ own research. Furthermore, the first day saw a poster session during which participants were able to present their research and exchange ideas. The participants’ overwhelmingly positive feedback confirmed the success of this year’s summer school, and we are already looking forward to organizing next year’s edition.
